Element Construction is Building Blueberry Processing Plant

Element Construction is constructing a blueberry processing plant in the Samegrelo region. This project stands out due to its scale. Upon completion, the plant owned by Golden Farms will have no comparable facility in the region.

The building covers an area of 1,340 square meters and includes a cold storage facility as well as the space required for processing lines.

The plant will play a significant role in regional employment, with plans to hire 200–300 people during peak periods. An export market is also planned, targeting the Persian Gulf and Middle East regions.

Golden Farms has been operating since 2020. The company is engaged in cultivating, processing, and selling blueberries. It holds Global G.A.P. and Global GRASP certifications. Golden Farms owns 90 hectares of blueberry plantations in the village of Pirveli Khorga and plans to expand its plantations shortly.
