The history of the construction of the Borjomi Enterprise
BMG dedicated a special television feature to one of the landmark projects in industrial construction - the construction of the new Borjomi plant.
The television story offers an in-depth overview of the entire three-year construction journey, highlighting the project’s scale, technical complexity, and the key challenges that arose throughout the process. The feature particularly emphasizes the expertise, flexibility, and operational precision with which Element Construction responded to each stage of the project.
“From the very beginning, EC distinguished itself through its strong sense of responsibility and flexibility. The company efficiently adapted to every change identified during the construction process, which made its role especially important and exceptional,” noted Ivane Machavariani, General Director of IDS Borjomi Georgia, in an interview with BMG.
According to him, Element Construction proved to be a strong and reliable partner, enabling the successful delivery of this large-scale and strategically important project.
Zviad Memarnishvili, Development Director of IDS Borjomi Georgia, also underlined the importance of selecting a construction partner capable of ensuring full synchronization across multiple disciplines.
“Structural, construction, engineering, and technological disciplines had to be implemented simultaneously in a way that would allow the replacement of the existing operational plant without interrupting ongoing operations,” explained Memarnishvili.
In his assessment, the experience and professional capabilities of Element Construction significantly streamlined the three-year construction process and contributed to the project’s successful completion.
Element Construction delivered the new production facility for Georgia’s first mineral water brand, Borjomi, on a 48,000 sq.m. site in the village of Kvibisi.
